Hi gang,
All good here. These unusually strong winds have come back. We thought that they were gone, and indeed they were for a few weeks, but they are back! Wow, it keeps the house cold and keeps you inside, slamming any open door and ripping our vines off the posts, etc. Our poor tomatoes! While they are bearing fruit they are looking a little tired. Quite a change from the usually March heat and humidity. Nothing compared to what you guys are going through but definately different than normal. Can you spell GLOBAL WARMING??? No just, kidding, no sure that is yet...I will keep you posted.
We added to our pack this last weekend! We now have Elvis, Zuma, and Foosa. I will send a picture soon. They are so lovable, except for the coyote like one that we can't even catch. Vico is still with us although she sleeps most of the day and night and will not be riled by the packs' barking. She does still however make the most of the daily walks around the ranch and down to the river...which as you know Stevo -- can be quite a hoof. Sam, Mully, and Blue are still roaming the ranch although you dad says we don't have a full dog between the three of them!
We raised about $3,000 for Marco's Montessori school. That was pretty exciting!! He is going a couple of days per week but of course is home now from a cold of last week. He hung out at Gran's yesterday, they had big fun working in the yard, and of course, eating popcorn and pepsi for snack. He pulled Lucy's tail a little too hard and she offer a bit of feedback this time with a nice little scratch on his leg. he looked at my in disbelief...and very sad face.
Nothing new here, we are looking for a cheap solution to get our floors done as this concrete is looking a little gnarly. We think a friend of ours is going to help us stain them.
Afro is doing well and promises to go surfing with us soon. Marco's Spanish is unbelievable as Afro works with him throughout the day when they "play" together. We bought a small little art table in San Jose this past weekend, which has been so cute to watch him play at it in his room. Favorite stuff (of course, gack holds the number one position!!) but second is playdough. KP - turning us on to gack has been so cool. I will have to stock up on corn starch on my next trip to the US as we finally went through the last box you gave us. He just loves the freakin' stuff and it keeps him busy for quite a while.
A couple of weeks back, Marco made some art for you guys so we will get that in the mail. time to do another project soon so some more fridge art is on the way.
KP - great chatting with you last Friday. I love hearing so much joy in your voice. How was jack's? i love that place!! SP - can wait to see you and Mei in a few months! We will let you know once we have a trip planned up north.
Love you guys!
